We are studying the book of Joshua during our worship times together. We will do some investigative research to uncover the character traits that God gave Joshua and that God wants everyone to have. We’ll do some CSI kind of work that will reveal things like: courage, leadership, humility, faithfulness, obedience and more. Stay tuned for CSI: J, a character study in Joshua.

Past Series: Conversations with God
Having a conversation with God can be as easy as grabbing a cup of coffee with a friend. God is always present and open to talk whenever we are ready. As we study prayers in the bible, we’ll redefine what it means to pray and learn how we can better communicate with God and live out the scripture to ‘pray constantly.’

This year we will remember all those who have served us so well and now rest from their labors. God has blessed us with faithful people who have paved the way for us to experience God’s move in our life time. Without their sacrifice we would not be here today.
May 23 – Special Sierra Leone Presentation
On Sunday, May 23rd we will spend time together in all of our worship services celebrating the great things we’re doing with our sister church in Maboleh, Sierra Leone. Pastor Dave will present the new things that have developed and what the future looks like for the people of Maboleh. The 10:45 services @ Colonial Park will be combined in the Sanctuary to allow Pastor Dave to address everyone at all of our campuses.

Past Series: Bii Fit – Spiritual Fitness
It seems like everyone wants to get fit these days, but one of the things we often overlook is our Spiritual Fitness. Our upcoming series Bii Fit is all about Spiritual Fitness. We will be discussing ten spiritual exercises that are tried and true ways to getting in touch with God. Now I know not all of us are into exercise so we will start out with some stretches and work our way up. For centuries, Advent has been a time of “Preparation”. We prepare for Christmas. We prepare for a King. We prepare for the coming Christ. But all too often we don’t know where to begin. What do you have to “prepare” other than your cookies and your Christmas tree? God has an expectation of preparation. As Christ followers we “prepare” our head, heart, and hands. In this series we will take a look at what that means and how we do it. Christmas is about more than “preparing” the trimmings on your house. This series will teach us how to “prepare” the trimmings on our lives.

Past Series: Reclaim the Vision
In September we began our series on Nehemiah entitled Reclaim the Vision. We’re going to look at the story of how Nehemiah was allowed to leave his place as a lowly slave to call the people of God back to Jerusalem to restore the city. The book looks at practical and daily aspects of our faith in GOD and challenges the people to show their faith through works and their daily behavior. Likewise, we are going to consider how God is calling us to change our lives to Reclaim the Vision.
