Don’t go to “Church”!…and Bring Your Friends…Know anyone that is interested in God – but not open to Church. Well that’s who Ekklesia is designed for. Its an amazing environment for exploring Jesus and spirituality. So on February 19th, 6:30 p.m. @ Rutherford please accept our invitation and “don’t go to church”, but bring your friends and experience a new way to explore what following Christ is all about. It’s a relationship – not a religion.

We must order Creation Tickets to get the best price by February 8^th. If you are planning to go please submit a $50 deposit per ticket to Jio Hardy by February 8^th. Reservations received after that date will be subject to additional cost. For more information pick up a creation packet from the information table.

MOVIE AND MARRIAGE NIGHT, FEBRUARY 11TH

There will be an opportunity for every married couple to have an evening out on us @ Colonial Park in Sholter Hall. Pastor Dave and Julie have a deep passion for seeing marriages succeed and reach new levels of love and understanding. They will be offering a special teaching at 7:00 p.m. that will cover some of the important things every couple needs to know for a successful marriage to happen. At 7:30 p.m. we’ll turn down the lights and start the movie. Drinks and popcorn will be provided. Child care will include snacks and a movie in our Celebration Station area.

February 19 – Sierra Leone Mission Sunday

With God’s help we are changing lives in Maboleh Village! This morning we will hear about daily life in Sierra Leone and how our sister church is making an impact. Every service will hear from one of our missionaries who recently returned and we’ll hear a challenge to build a new church! Please note that all worship service @ Colonial Park will be held in Shotler Hall.

LIFEGROUP LEADER TRAINING – FEBRUARY 25!

Let’s try for 100% attendance. A major part of being a leader is being trainable. Some of us have been doing this for years, but we can still be better leaders. Some have not been to any training, and that is not acceptable. Some of us do the same thing over and over, and that is not helping us step out of our comfort zone. So, here is another opportunity for you.

We would like to partner with you on this training: of the cost of $25, we will pay $10 for each. Please make reservation with Helen Patrick ASAP. It is a regional training, held at Daybreak Church in Mechanicsburg (close to the Stoufffers of Kissel Hill). You will have a choice of workshops.

On Sunday, March 4^th the students are having another breakfast fundraiser @ Colonial Park in Sholter Hall from 7:15 – 9:30 a.m. This will be our third one of the year and they’ve been a HUGE hit so far! This is a student served breakfast for everyone! Donations are accepted and all proceeds will go toward our student mission trips this summer to Gatlinburg, TN and Antigua, Guatemala. WILD WEDNESDAYS

The Directional Team @ Colonial Park has put together a new twist on Wednesday evenings. There will be a meal—catered by the Wild Tomato—offered for a low price $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children (10 and under) from 5:00-6:00 pm in Sholter Hall. Reservations for the meal are due to the church office by Monday at noon. If you do not call the church office to cancel your reservation by Tuesday you will be requested to pay for the meal because the church must pay the Wild Tomato for the meals ordered.

All kinds of great things will be offered each Wednesday including: 6:00-6:30 p.m. Majesty Chimers rehearsal, 6:30-7:30 p.m. both adult and children’s choir rehearsals, children’s Bible activities, adult Bible studies, membership classes, 6:30-8:00 p.m. Ignite middle school gathering; 8:00-9:00 p.m. worship ensemble rehearsal and more. Make sure you plan to plug into one of these great offerings each Wednesday.
