We have had a cost reduction due to an anonymous very generous family who is underwriting the cost of food for CREATION. Here is the good news – We still have 4 tickets left. That’s right 57 days to go and we only have 4 tickets left. They are on a first come first serve basis. If you have already signed up your final payment is due by May 30th. This will ensure that all arrangements can be made before we leave for this year’s mission trip. Please contact Jio Hardy at nanajio@verizon.net to reserve your space. The cost is $125 for students and adults and $54.00 for children 6 and older.

CrossPoint Church is planning a 5K/Fun Run to benefit our Food Pantry ministry and the people it serves. In order to make this event a success, organizers are looking for volunteers to assist with various tasks leading up to the event, as well as on the day of the run.

The RUN YOUR CAN OFF 5K/Fun Run will take place on Saturday, October 6th, @ Rutherford between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon. People are needed to secure sponsors, assemble informational packets, track registrations, etc. On the day of the event, volunteers will be asked to assist with parking, registration, and handing out informational packets. Additionally, people willing to stand at various points along the running route to provide directions, hand out water and fruit, and offer encouragement will be needed.

CrossPoint Church’s Food Pantry Ministry is a community ministry that serves the needs of over 200 people every time it opens its doors. The Food Pantry works closely with the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank to provide important staples such as pasta, cereal, meats, and fresh produce to people from Rutherford and surrounding communities. Your willingness to volunteer will help the Food Pantry continue this vital community outreach ministry. Thank you in advance for your consideration and support of this worthwhile endeavor. If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, please contact Crystal Hoy at (717) 773-1356 or e-mail runyourcanoff@verizon.net.
